Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to play parqués. The Parqués Online app aims to meet level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) in its menus, shop, settings and match controls.
What you can adjust in the app
In Settings, under “Accessibility”: color-blind colors with a symbol for each player, high contrast, text size (it follows your phone's), left-handed mode, reduced motion, and sounds, music and vibration separately.
With a screen reader
TalkBack and VoiceOver read every button's name, prices in pesos or gems and each balance change. In a match, “Board summary” tells you whose turn it is, the dice, each color's pieces and the pieces you can move.
Known limits
- The board is a drawing: a screen reader can't walk it square by square. The board summary and the piece list replace it.
- The external accessibility review is still pending. We'll publish its result on this page.
Found a barrier?
Tell us what happened and on which screen through “Contact and help” in the app.
The press e-mail is published before launch.
